Lauren Peterson is a nationally recognized yoga practitioner and teacher living in Malibu, Calif. She is one of the few advanced (Fourth Series) ashtanga yoga practitioners in the US. Lauren had the privilege to study with, and sometimes assist, Chuck Miller for over 10 years. Along with her open asana classes, she also started a yoga program designed for women struggling with eating disorders. She has been featured in many magazines such as Yoga Journal and Cosmopolitan, and on television, in the PBS series Healing Quest, for her work as a yoga instructor.
