Recently I shared my reasons for wanting to be healthy, however I know that when you sit behind a desk all day it's hard to move around. We need to try and make the effort in order to not only prevent the dreaded "office chair spread" but to keep our muscles moving and warm all day long.

My yoga experience taught me you don't have to twist yourself into a
pretzel. And that you can gain the benefits of yoga breathing even
while doing pushups, jumping jacks, and any form of intense exertion.

Your body is an efficient machine, and if you do the same type of
exercise day after day, you'll become quite good at it. However, when
exercise becomes easy to complete, it's a sign you need to work a
little harder and give your body a new challenge.

I was thinking about this concept in relationship to our busy lives and
working out and eating well. When I look at my own life, I see that
there are times that I have to manage my fitness life. Let's face it,
some weeks you wake up on Monday and by nightfall it's Friday...comments(1)

I spend so much time doing the same old things that I think I just put
my husband's clean underwear away from the laundry for what feels like
the 639th time. The funny thing is it's 10 p.m. and my three daughters
have just hit the hay, so this is a great time to do what can't wait
for tomorrow.....
