Had a great Saturday with my hubby and friends. Went for a run, then did some SUP. I took my friends kids out on the board with me. They had a blast! I also got a great workout as it was windy and the ocean was a bit choppy. Gonna feel my core and arms tomorrow!!!

Still having a blast in San Francisco. Our home city was 109 degrees when we left, today we are wearing sweaters an scarves! LOVE IT! Cooled it on the cheese, walked up a giant hill in Berkeley to a street called Grizzly Peak! Amazing views and super workout. Heading home to reality tomorrow, and an appointment with the trainer on Wed morning! Looks like the party is over!

SO we had a crazy RV vacation and are now having a BLAST in San Francisco! I just said to my husband that I have eaten more cheese and bread in the past two days than in the last month, but I have done a lot of walking up some crazy hills! Keeping up the good cardio and continuing with the T360. Honeyline has been the best for my diet and workouts!!!

Back from a long vacation with the kids. Now I need a vacation! I did my best to keep up on the cardio and weights. We were traveling in an RV so I packed my running gear, bands, and light weights. Did not gain any weight, did not loose any but am happy with keeping up.
Back using the T360 workouts which I LOVE! Running is difficult where I live because it is so hot, but have been on the treadmill at the gym which is a little snooze inducing but....
Keep up the great work ladies!

I am a "wanna be" runner and need some advice! I am thinking about doing the LA Rock n Roll 1/2 marathon in October. Is 4 months enough time to train for a half? I am not currently a runner...at all. Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks :)

Jumping shoulder press? As if just a shoulder press isn't hard enough! Had to try this one this morning what a tough move! Got my heart rate up. If I can do this 15 reps 3 times I will feel like I can tackle the day!!

Well I think I know the secret to fitness success...keep going! I feel like if I miss a day or two days or three it then leads to a week or more. But if I get going like 4 in a row I feel so good I want to keep it up. Why can't I remember that feeling on day two of missing? Currently I am on a roll. I feel strong, tighter, more alive so I just hope I remember how this feels when the day comes where I say oh I'll just do it tomorrow!

Enough with the single leg exercises! -- my rear and quads are destroyed!!! Does anybody else find the single leg exercises very difficult?

Lunch: I had the most delicious lunch ever, an Ezekial tortilla, cubed tempeh with Annie's goddess dressing heated up a bit, kale and arugula, and 1/2 an avocado, all rolled up into a giant taco/burrito. I find that if my meals aren't super satisfying I tend to snack all day on crap.

Challenge: 8 glasses of water had me going to the bathroom all day long - ugh. Have been off white flour (bagels!) since Monday, eating balanced vegan meals, scheduling my workouts and, for watching stress, here's a great tip, breathing through my nose all day long. Check out John Douillard's Body, Mind, Sport book or his website. Nasal breathing is so calming and the science behind its benefits, even for hard core triathletes DURING EXERCISE, is valid.
Today, strething during lunch hour and Train 360 after work.
Food: berries, half banana, orange with nuts and Ultimate Meal vegan protein powder smoothie. Lunch and dinner are a mystery . . .

Am looking forward to this. Kinda worried about some of the things... but.... it will be good to step out of my comfort zone. I won't know until I try. Hell... did the 30 day challenge and have consistently kept up my walking since then.... not a bad place to start.. If I come out of this one with one good habit... then I will be happy. :)

I am on day 9 with Train 360 and LOVING IT! It is so much easier to work out when all the moves are surprises, it really challenges my mind and body and I don't dread working out anymore.

Could not do one single leg stand up from bench today -- something about yesterday's workout -- the 6 count body builders I think, killed my upper side quads. I didn't even know I had muscles there. Just standing from my office chair hurts! But, this is good because as I get stronger I will be able to tell when I've made progress!

The past two days' workouts have been short and relatively "easy," and I have thought about doing more. But, being new to the train 360 I am going to give it a shot as it is, only adding cardio. I know from my first workout, I think it was April 19 (legs), it kicked my legs HARD, so I know a harder workout is coming soon.
Doing well with the no sugar, although I just received a gift box of See's chocolates (milk -- my favorite, don't care so much for the dark "healthy" stuff). I could stand to improve is on the Splenda, sugar free gum, and white flour. Baby steps . . . . Bottom line is that the workouts are helping so much with my moods and energy!

Doing well, but flour in the morning is a challenge -- I love my hot, doughy bagels and can eat them like apples. However, 1 per day is better than 3! My legs are sore from yesterday.
