amen to that Gabby! Our family of 12 eats together every supper hardly ever on the go. The only time it is on the go is if someone is off to an important meeting and doesn’t have time to sit down. There is nothing like the family dynamic of the family table.

Gabby…you’re my idol. You’re setting such an excellent example of how to be a fit mom and positively influence your children with exercise and nutrition. I was a single mom with just one daughter for most of her life…she’s 16 now. I have made it a nightly ritual to share a sit down dinner since she was a baby. She isn’t ‘naturally’ a lover of vegetables but over the years, as I’ve just continued to offer them at our dinner table each night, salads have become a fun food we’ve created together, picking our favorite additions like cranberries and nuts. Just this past weekend, I was shocked when her dinner choice was a squash and plantain burrito, hold the cheese & extra green salsa! Something’s working!
